St. Joseph chapel

fascinates every visitor thanks to productions by important masters of the Czech Baroque. Wenceslas Lawrence Rainer (1689-1743) painted the oldest fresco in the château, the Ascension which decorates the ceiling of the presbytary. The sculptor Matthias Bernard Braun (1648-1738) and his pupil John George Pacák created the great altar. His other well-known production is alegory in the château Kuks and he also decorated Charles Bridge. John Peter Molitor (1702-1757) is the author of the beautiful portraits of St. Frances (1182 – 1224 ) and St. Theresa of Avila ( 1515 – 1582 ). The chapel is the most valued place in the chateau where civil and religious weddings  take place. The integral part of the chapel is the organ which comes from the time before the fire in 1754, renovated by Rudolf Valenta in 2002-4. The capacity of the chapel is 120 people.

Nowadays, night lightening and stable sound distribution aid to practical using of the French strict geometrical parts (frontal facade, stables, fountain, statues, wood species). Newly recnstructed public toilets are situated in the left corner of the courtyard. No entrance for animals, no entrance to the grass and no entrance for motor vehicles.

Free area behind the château

is a beautiful area with a beautiful view of the château, giardinetto,  and rock-garden. This place challenges to holding here weddings, celebrations or concerts in the open air. The meddow behind the château misses the lightening, the same as the rear facade of the château. Besides public toilets you can also use toilets in  stables.

Giardino segreto

is a smaller garden on the right side of the château which is decorated by oleander, hydrangea, myrtle, pomegranate or even low-grown palm trees. In this wonderful garden, we cut wedding cakes and serve caffee. Capacity of the giardinetto is up to 100 people. Night lightening supports its glamour. Toilets are available in the courtyard.
